Attire

This celebration has a mood—and we want you to be part of it. Think rich, romantic colors and dramatic textures: deep reds, forest greens, plums, silvers, golds, and jewel tones. Velvet, satin, lace—anything that catches the light and feels alive.

But one rule stands above all: Only the newlyweds will be wearing black. Black is reserved for us—it’s our version of white.

We love the depth and symbolism of black, but it’s central to our look and story for the night. Please do not wear black in any form. Guests who arrive wearing black will be turned away at the door—no exceptions. We know it’s strict, but this vision means the world to us. We want every photo and every glance across the room to feel like a painting—filled with color, warmth, and light.

The ceremony will be outside, so bring shoes you can walk on grass in and something to keep you warm once the sun goes down.

Adopt a Cat

During café hour, meet adoptable cats fromKitten Rescue Los Angeles. We will be sponsoring three adoptions. These will be first come, first served. You may adopt one of the cats present, or any cat from Kitten Rescue within one month of the wedding. If you’re interested, let us know and fill out the adoption form.

Not ready to adopt? You’re welcome to send a donation to support their life saving work at kittenrescue.org

Get Inked

We’re so excited to offer free tattoos as part of our wedding celebration. Tattoos will be by appointment only, so please fill out this form if you are interested in getting a tattoo. You can only choose from the provided flash sheet, and it will only be available in red or black ink. We cannot make any changes to these tattoos and they will be done exactly how you see them on the sheet.

The practical magic

What should I wear?
Moody colors, rich fabrics, bold accessories—let your outfit feel alive. Please do not wear black. Only the newlyweds will be in black—it’s sacred for this night. Guests in black attire will not be admitted.

Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation says "& Guest," yes! If not, our guest list is set and we’re keeping it intimate.

Are kids invited?
We love your little ones, but children are only invited if your invitation says "Your Name & Family" or if it says "The Last Name Family." If it does not, then please make this a date night.

Will there be food options for me?
Absolutely. Please list any dietary needs when you RSVP.

What about parking?
There is street parking available. We encourage ride shares.

Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?
Yes. No need to drive or relocate between events — once you’re here, you’re here for the night.

Is this indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be outdoors as well. We recommend bringing something warm for later in the evening.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive by 1:45 to get settled before the ceremony begins. Once the processional starts, doors will close — we want the moment to stay uninterrupted.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We’re asking everyone to be present in the moment — please keep phones and cameras away until after the ceremony. We’ll have professionals capturing everything.

Will there be an open bar?
Sort of - we plan on having batch cocktails for waiters to serve.

Are the tattoos really free?
Yes! Flash tattoos are free for guests. Just be sure to fill out the tattoo form ahead of time so the artist can plan accordingly.

Can I bring cash or card for the raffle?
The raffle is cash only, so bring a few bills if you plan to join in.

What if I have more questions?
Reach out to us directly at marlon.caytlynn@gmail.com — we’ll help however we can.
